hello everyone! today i am going to be talking about all the books i plan on reading in May. i have a lot of books i want to read, since i have no real big plans in May, plus a big amount of my libby holds are coming in.
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan. i plan on reading this whole series this month, since it is pretty short, and i found all the audio books on Libby. i’m pretty excited to read all of these, since this is one of my favorite series.
the insider by Ridley Pearson. this has been on a couple of my last months tbr, but i’m hoping i’ll finally get to it. and i’m so excited to get back into the kingdom keeper world, and to be in DisneyLand.
the return series by Ridley Pearson. with all the other series i plan on reading this month, there is no way to read all three books, but i’m still going to try. it’s going to be so sad to finish this series, but it just makes it more exciting for the new book in April of next year.
city of bones by Cassie Clare. i recently watched Piera Forde’s video of her reading this whole series in 72 hours, but i know i can’t read all the books in 72 hours, but i still hope to read all of this series, if it’s audio or physical.
love her or loose her by Tessa Bailey. i read her other book, and i liked it to some degree, but i’m pretty sure it’s about her sister in law, who i really liked throughout the book. and i can’t wait to see if there is more talk about Travis and Gorgie.
the bromance book club by Lyssa Kay Adams. i’ve seen this all over bookstagram and booktube, i had to pick this up, and i honestly can’t wait to see if i like this book, since it seems so interesting to me. but, i’ll also read the sequel, if it does come in.
the flatshare by Beth O’Leary. i’ve seen this book everywhere, and it has gotten pretty back and forth reviews, but i’m hoping i’ll be one of the people that like it, since the plot seems really cool. and i’ve never seen/read a book like this, so it will be an experience.
the worst best man by Mia Sosa. i’ve heard that this book is so funny, so i’m so excited to read it. and hopefully it will be very funny, which is something i need right now. this just sounds like the perfect rom com, that everyone needs now.
the honey-don’t list by Christiana Lauren. this sounds like such a great book if you like HGTV, which is pretty much what is always on at my house, so i’m just so exited to read it. and i also love these authors books so much, so hopefully i can add this to the list as well.
would like to meet by Rachel Winter. this sounds so cute, since it is all about two people meeting over and over again, for the male main characters since he is a screenwriter. i am just so interested and i can’t wait to get into it.
ninth house by Leigh Bardugo. I’ve seen this book all over booktube, and i can’t wait to get into it, even though I’ve seen a lot of positive and negative reviews. but this is going to be the first book i’ve ever read by her, so i’m pretty excited.
the starless sea by Erin Morgenstern. i’m pretty exited for this, since a ton of people do love this book, along with the author in general. but, i’ve never read any of hers, so i hope this will be a great intro to her books, so i’ll try so hard to get to this one, assuming that my Libby gives it to me.
bringing down the duke by Evie Dunmore. i’ve seen this book all over Instagram, and i cannot wait to read this, since many people love this book so much. so, i’m excited to get into this book, since i think it is a historical fiction, but i know that it is in England, hence the title.
girls with sharp sticks and girls with razor hearts by Suzanne Young. sharp sticks will actually be a reread, and i’m so excited to jump into this world again. and this whole plot just sounds so interesting and i can’t wait to read this and meet all these characters again.
anyway, that’s it for today. all these books just sound so amazing, so i’m hopefully going to read a bunch of amazing books this month. and i hope you have a great reading month as well.
