july wrap up

hello everyone! today i am going to be talking about all the books i read this month. honestly, i had such a good reading month, and i honestly hope august is just as good since i have a lot of books i still want to read some of these.

just like heaven by julia quinn. i gave this book 5/5 stars. i honestly loved this book so much and i honestly love marcus and honoria so much and they were just so cute together. and i honestly really loved the whole brother’s best friend plot line, and i just think that this book was done so well.

the girl in the headlines by hannah jayne. i gave this book 3/5 stars. first off, thank you so much for an arc! this book was honestly so stupid and i honestly hated the plot and the characters, and i just feel like this book was just not good, compared to some of the other ya mysteries. but, i do feel like the only good part of this book was that it was a very quick read, and honestly was very mindless.

yolk by mary hk choi. i gave this book 4/5 stars. honestly, i’m not sure what i expected for this book, but i thought that this book was about a bank robbery, and i honestly have no clue where i got that from, but, i mean, this was still a good book. and i think that it was a decent book, but also that i feel like there was so many plots going on in this book, instead of just the cancer plot or something.

one last stop by casey mcquiston. i gave this book 2/5 stars. this book was honestly so disappointing, and i think that this book had so much potential but i feel like the paragraphs and chapter were just so big it honestly took so much away from the story. and i think the chapters were just so boring and that it made this story such a drag to get through. but, i do think the romance was still good, and i still liked that part at least.

the therapist by BA Paris. i gave this book 2/5 stars. first off, thank you so much for an arc of this book! i honestly didn’t really care for this book at all. like i feel like the main character lacked so much and was just plain stupid for most of this book and i think it was just so annoying and just pissed me off honestly. and i also like that so much of this book just didn’t make sense and the author really didn’t think some of this all threw.

life’s too short by abby jimenez. i gave this book 5/5 stars. this book was honestly so amazing, and i completely love this book and the characters and the plot so much. like, i honestly loved the romance and how much the two characters cared about each other and it honestly felt like they got to know each other in such a short about of time. and it was such an adorable story, which was so amazing.

between perfect and real by ray stoeve. i gave this book 4/5 stars. i honestly liked this book, but i do feel like that this book was honestly good and it was a decent story and i liked the journey that dean went through for this story and the message it told. but, i mean, something just felt off for this story, and something was missing. like, i feel like it should have just been longer.

a good girl’s guide to murder by Holly Jackson. i gave this book 5/5 stars. this is my fourth reread. honestly, this book was just so good and i honestly loved this story so much again. and i honestly loved ravi and pip so much more this time and they are honestly so cute together.

kate in waiting by Becky Albertalli. i gave this book 2/5 stars. honestly this book had so much potential, and i honestly really wished i liked this book, and i think that a lot of this audio book did take away from this book, since the narrators voice was just so annoying. but, i feel like this book was boring and that not a lot happened, which just pissed me off.

an emotion of great delight by tahereh mafi. i gave this book 3/5 stars. i personally really liked this book and i really liked the plot and what it told and tried to teach us. but, i feel like there was just so much time where the plot was literally all over the place and that i feel like this book just didn’t have that much plot and that it was just so all over the place.

good girl, bad blood by holly jackson. i gave this book 5/5 stars. this is also my 4th reread. honestly, i loved this book so much, obviously. and i think that this book is so good and i honestly loved seeing ravi and pip in here again. and i honestly really liked ravi’s weird humor and how he was trying to be funny in here.

she drives me crazy by kelly quindlen. i gave this book 4/5 stars. i honestly thought that this book was so good and that they were so cute with the enemies to lovers and fake dating, i thought it was just so cool. but, i do feel like that there should have been more parts of them actually together as a couple and not just fake dating and/or fighting.

the soulmate equation by christina lauren. i gave this book 4/5 stars. i honestly thought that this book was really good, but not my favorite one of them. and i feel like the science and math talk was a bit to much at some times, since i literally understood like none of it. but, i do think jess and river do have a really cute romance, which was cute to read about.

anyway, that is all for today! i honestly had a good reading month and i honestly read so many good books this month, plus reread some that i really wanted to reread before the final book. and i honestly hope that i have this good of a reading month next month.
