DISCUSSES THE BELIEFS OR CULTURE DIFFERENT THEN YOUR OWN-

historally inaccurate by Shay Bravo. this is kind of cheating, but i think that this book will discuss the whole issue with immigration and how it is the whole fork stealing will be dealt with, since the main character isn’t your basic white girl.

GIFTED-

horrid by Katrina Leno. this book is all about Jane North-Robinson who has to move to her mothers childhood home after her fathers death. but, Jane finds comfort in books, connecting her more to her father, but her mother slowly spiraling with coming back to her old home. but, then Jane finds the old “storage room,” which actually is a girls bedroom which looks untouched for years.

the rule of 3 by Ariella Talix. i’m not sure if i’d say that the characters are ‘unfaithful,’ but this does involve a threesome/ open relationship. but, i want to keep an open mind when i read this book, so i’m not going to give a description, since i don’t want to know anything about this book.

A FEMINIST READ-

the voting booth by Brandy Colbert. i’m not going to talk about what this book is about whatsoever, since the election is so high on many peoples nerves, like myself. and i honestly just don’t want to drum up any anxiety.

11 LETTER TITLE-

the stitchers by Lorien Lawrence. so, this is a new middle grade series, which takes place in a small town with multiple spine chilling issues. this is giving me major goosebumps vibes, so i cannot wait to read this. i’m not going to say to much about this, since i think this book would be better if you don’t know what it is about.
