historically inaccurate review- blogmas day 22

hello everyone! happy blogmas day 22! today i am going to be talking about historically inaccurate by Shay Bravo. i gave this book 1/5 stars. this book was pretty terrible, like i feel like there was just a ton of drama in this book. but, thank you so much Netgalley for this book.

one thing that kind of confused me a little bit, was how it just jumped straight up to the plot. like it literally was straight to the plot, which got to be kind of annoying since i had no clue what was happening. and because when everything started we just know Sol is stealing a spoon, but we eventually got more, but it was still kind of a mess.

i also don’t really know how Sol just knew the whole floor plan of the house she was breaking into. i mean, i feel like it could be like someone else the club knew it, but it still kind of confused me. and like they never really said anything about it, just that she was going into here.

but, also Bravo described every single thing that was happening in this book. like every single little thing was described in so much detail, and it just got to be kind of annoying. like, there was so much talk about what her bike was, her bedspread, her cat, and hell even her computer breaking was in so much detail it got to be annoying.

with that being said, we got so much detail about the non important things, but then something like her mom being deported, which was talked about a ton, it was like three sentences. which, is so annoying, since it is a central plot thing, not just something stupid like her laptop.

and she also had so many thoughts. like so freaking many, and it got to be annoying after awhile. and of course, she never had anything good to say, only the boring and stupid crap. (i.e. all the talk about her laptop and how she wants to eat a muffin.)

one thing that rubbed me the wrong way, and got to be so gross the first time this happened. which, was our love interest kept dead-naming and misgendering. and, there of course can be two sides of this argument, one that the author did it or two that it was the characters. which, i’ve seen both of them. and i personally think it is so annoying that people are like brushing this off since the characters did this, not actually the author, even though the author wrote it. this also happened more then once, like 7 times, and it was so gross.

look, i like a good book with some lgbtqia+ characters and also a diverse cast of characters, but in here they are so flat and just annoying. and like most of the non white characters in books they grow and just talk about how they aren’t white and how they are comfortable. which, we didn’t get or anything close to it. and the same thing with our transgender character, it was just misgendering over and over and over again, which doesn’t sit right with me honestly.

but the pace was also crap. like we got pages and pages of the smallest details, which honestly just let me skim pages and pages and pages of this book, since this book was honestly so boring. and there also was so much that got repeated over and over and over again, which was just so annoying, since we got this the first time, we don’t need it 50 times.

the whole plot of these books were all about this history club. like you’d expect a history club to talk about history, it was just the character doing stupid crap that was just so boring. and like all they did was jump of buildings and stealing spoons. and then the Black love interest, Ethan, who is talking about not wanting to do anything risky, since he is Black and he doesn’t want the police to find out since he doesn’t want to be killed. but, then all of the characters were like oh well we don’t care.

but, then in the end of the novel the club gets reported to the school board and/or the police. and all of the characters were like straight up crying cause they were SO surprised. like, you are doing illegal crap, so of course the police are gonna talk this seriously. and look into you and going to take down your ‘club.’ and this honestly cannot be that much of a surprise to anyone.

i also didn’t really care for the romance. it honestly kind of annoying, since it had nothing to do with the plot. and i mean, this book was about finding yourself and the stupid club, do the romance did nothing for me, and should have just been cut out.

anyway, that’s all for today! happy blogmas day 22! thank you so much netgalley for this arc, even if i didn’t really like it. and of course, all my opinion are my own.

crazy stupid bromance- blogmas day 21

hello everyone! today i am going to be talking about crazy stupid bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams. i gave this book 2/5 stars. this book was honestly kind of bad, and i was so disappointed, since i kind of liked these other books. but, i will still read the rest of the series, since i’m to invested not to.

i also kind of thought this book writing was overall pretty bad. i feel like a lot of this book had more telling then showing. and this might have just been me, since i’m kind of in a slump when i was reading this book. but, i just found this writing in this book to be bad, worst then the other books in this series.

as a little side note, there is this Karen in this book. and whenever she came in, it was honestly one of the funniest things in the world. since, she was such a complete bitch, and just made everything so much better. and it was even better since her name in the book was Karen, and she was an actual Karen.

but, this book also had so much unneeded family drama. like the whole plot of this book was dealing with family drama. and this was honestly so boring, since none of this dealt with the romance plot line. and it just made me so bored, since this just had so much family drama again and again.

and also since there was so much family drama, it kind of made me a little bit uncomfortable. since, the dad and Alexis’ half sister pretty much just used her for an organ. and they just found her after the dad was dying. and overall, this had potential, but also this could have just been used so much better. especially if Alexis isn’t so much of a pushover.

since this book was part of a series but also since Noah and Alexis were already friends, it was hard to connect to this story and these characters. and since they went into this book with already so many built up feelings, it was so hard to feel anything towards these two. and i mean, we couldn’t even seen anything happening, like them growing in their feelings. but, anyway this book didn’t even focus on the romance, just the unneeded family drama.

but, this book just let me to have some issues with the bromance club. since, in the start of the book Noah was like “i don’t really want to have sex with Alexis yet.” but, the guys honestly just tried to push him to have sex, even though he didn’t really want to have sex with her at this point. and it just made me uncomfortable, since if Noah didn’t want to have sex with Alexis yet, he doesn’t have to have sex and definitely to be looked at as a fool.

there was also this whole part about sexual assault in the book prior to this book with Liv. and one of the victims is our main character, Alexis, in this book. which, i kind of expected to have a lot of parts about her sexual assault and her going to court or something. instead, we got barely anything, only like one little yoga class for survivors. and i just wish we got more about this, since it was a very central topic in book 2.

and i mean i thought it was kind of annoying how they would just jump time periods. it wasn’t like months and months, but maybe a week and/or a couple days. and i feel like it was kind of annoying, since when you were reading it was just so weird since these chucks of times you would never know what is happening.

also, every single thing that happened in this book was dragged out so freaking much. and i mean, i feel like this whole book had issues that could be resolved in a good solid 10 minutes, but instead it took days to get threw, which obviously is annoying.

and there was honestly so many subplots and sub characters in this book. which, just got to be so annoying after a while. like just forgetting the whole family plot, there was so many plots. and i mean, there was just so much crap that was going on. which, was not the right way to go for this author.

another thing, i honestly did not like the whole sex scenes. i mean, i think it was just so gross, and i honestly it wasn’t that good. and some of the scenes weren’t even that good. like, book one definitely had way better sex, and this book had kind of uncomfortable sex scenes.

this is kind of a spoiler, but this was just kind of weird. but there was this quote in the book that was ‘Noah’s penis was known as a “magic wand” and he made Alexis say the “magic word” before having sex, which was “Abracadabra.” look, i read a bit of adult romance, but that honestly made me pretty uncomfortable, since it was just so weird, even if i was supposed to be funny or something.

Alexis- she had so much potential in this book to grow and be a better character. but, she was honestly so bad. like, whenever something bad would happen to her, she just rolled over like the dog, or whatever that quote is. and it honestly was so bad, and really annoyed me.

Noah- i feel like he was a decent character, like he wasn’t the best, but also wasn’t the worst. and i mean, i feel like he could have held his ground so much better then he actually did. and he was kind of a pushover at some different points.

anyway, that is all for today! happy blogmas day 21! i honestly was so disappointed, since a lot of this book has like 4/5 stars ratings, and the average rating for this book is like 4.0, and i honestly hated this, if you couldn’t tell.

she’s with me and stay with me review – blogmas day 20

hello everyone! today i am going to be talking about she’s with me and stay with me by Jessica Cunsolo. this books were honestly kind of a mess, hence why i’m just going to do one post about them, instead of two different ones, and also a lot of my thoughts are the same for both of them.

SHE’S WITH ME-

off the bat, i gave this book 2/5 stars. i never really planned to read this book, but i got an arc for the other book, and it just let me to read this because it is a series. but, this book wasn’t the worst book, but also not the best book in the world.

first thing first, Amelia Collins was one of the most annoying characters in the world. one of the things that just annoyed me so much was how she was acting like she is special because she is ‘directionally challenged.’ this honestly annoyed me so much, and it was just so annoying since not knowing directions in a new school is so normal, but she was acting like she was so special. and also she couldn’t read a school map, which was making her so close to cry it got to be annoying.

like most typical wattpad books, i found this book to be written by a third grader that got told swear words way to young. it honestly was kind of annoying, since this was so bad and it literally had nothing going for it. and i mean, i feel like if this had better writing, this book could have been so freaking good, but it just wasn’t. and this whole book just scared wattpad in 20 different languages.

this is honestly such a side note though, but whenever they would talk about Aiden and his friends, they would always capitalize ‘The Boys’ and it got to be kind of annoying. and i don’t even know why they always did this, but who knows.

but, the mom always told Amelia that she couldn’t have friends, since she has some other issue. but, honestly is the mom didn’t let Amelia have friends, she would stick out like a sore thumb. but, of course she gets friends cause she just wants to piss off her mom.

then her mom would make all these talks about how the mom wants to protect Amelia at all times. but, then the mom goes off and is never home and is traveling the world, since she is a flight attendant. and i get that you want to protect your daughter, but if your half way across the world, you cannot really protect her that much.

but, i also got super annoyed by how Amelia was having a breakdown about how she got her period. like it was so annoying, and i think it was so annoying since getting your period is as normal as breathing for girls. but, i guess when you want to impress a boy you of course get embarrassed by everything.

i also found it so annoying how Amelia was getting so judgmental about were Aiden lived. like he was looking over two kids, and had to go to school and work, so he’s not going to live in a mansion. and it just pissed me off when she was being a bitch about it.

STAY WITH ME-

first thing first, i gave this book 1/5 stars. thank you so much netgalley for this arc! i honestly hated this book so much, and it just got worse and worse then i possibly thought it could get.

but, this book had so much telling, not showing. which, got so annoying after a long time. and i honestly just found that to be so annoying. and this never got better for the whole book, which was kind of surprising since the other book didn’t have this same issue.

if you’re looking for a sweet romance, this isn’t the book for it. like there was some romance, but this wasn’t it. and it got to be kind of annoying, since there was romance but not enough. it was like a kiss here and there, but nothing more than that. but, it got to be kind of annoying, since we never got anything more.

i also did not like the whole ‘woman is all of our property and we can just claim her.’ and this got to be super annoying, since when this happened it just got so freaking annoying. and it’s like 2020, it shouldn’t be happening, since women can do whatever the hell they want to do.

there was also so much family drama it got to be so annoying. it honestly got to be so annoying. since ever single chapter there was more and more and more family drama. like we straight up didn’t need to read all of this family drama, and it got to be so annoying after awhile. and i mean it just got to be a bit much after awhile.

anyway, that is all for today! happy blogmas day 20! i hope you enjoyed this post, even though these books were honestly kind of terrible, and i couldn’t get into most of these books.

the invincible summer of Juniper Jones review – blogmas day 19

hello everyone! happy blogmas day 19! today i am going to be talking about the invincible summer of juniper jones by Daven McQueen. i gave this book 4.5/5 stars. before we get into the review, thank you so much Netgalley for this book!

first thing first, the writing was kind of all over the place. i mean, and one part, it was so amazing and i couldn’t get enough of it. but, then at a different part, it was honestly kind of shitty. but, i do feel like the harder scenes to read weren’t that great of writing, but the parts with Juniper and Ethan exploring were honestly so amazing.

but, this book is so sad. like the ending completely destroyed me, especially when that thing happened. and also how Ethan was talking about it, it honestly like broke my heart. like it was just so sad, and i never really expected it to be that bad as it was.

on a more positive note, if your looking for a powerful story about race and friendship and history, this is probably your way to go. like it was so heartbreaking, but it told so much history, it was just so freaking great. and i cannot recommend this book enough.

and with everything that we are seeing come to light today, this book is completely worth the read. this honestly shows how terrible everything is, and how this isn’t just a 2020 issue. and also how things can change quickly, and how you can’t judge people based off their skin color. this was honestly such an eye opening book.

i did find that Juniper got to be a bit annoying after awhile. like i feel like she was so crazy, she got to be a bit annoying. and honestly that’s kind of a common thing for me, if the character is crazy, i’ll probably find them annoying, but that is just a personal thing.

i do wish we got more info about Ethan’s past. like we got told a little bit, but it was just like pieces here and there. and i wish we got told a lot more about him, like how his family was set up and all of his history. but, i still liked what we did get told, which was pretty much just the basic information. and it even took awhile for to get there out of him, if i’m remembering it correctly.

i honestly loved the whole list though. it was honestly so cool and i really loved all the stuff they were doing. and it was just so freaking fun to watch them do this crazy list of things. and i feel like it added so much to the story, and i feel like it just made it so much better. but, i do wish we got the full list, not just little things here and there.

i do feel like some of this book was a pity party. i mean, in the start it was such a pity party, but it soon got over it and it just was *chef’s kiss* amazing. i honestly thought it was so great, and i cannot wait for more by this author, especially if it is hard hitting like this one.

on a negative note, i honestly had an issue the pace of this book. it was kind of slow at parts, which just made everything drag so much, and it got to be annoying. but as everything got going, it got to be so freaking amazing.

honestly, this book is honestly invincible and turkey unforgettable in the best possible way. it was honestly such a beautiful story about race, friendship, history, and also an amazing summer adventure. this is honestly such a great book and shows how a bunch of small things can change so many different people’s lives. i’m so excited to see what this author comes up with the in the future, because i feel like if she plays her cards right she can be the next big thing.

anyway, that is all for today! happy blogmas day 19! thank you so much netgalley for this ARC! i honestly loved this book so much, and i literally cannot wait to read more books by this author in the future.

kingdom of the wicked – blogmas day 18

hello everyone! happy blogmas day 18! today i am going to talk about kingdom of the wicked by Kerri Maniscalo. i gave this book 5/5 stars. and this book was honestly so good, which i was kind of surprised about, since i never really liked straight fantasy books, but this was a nice surprise.

one thing i didn’t really understand why she was crushing on the priest. which, i guess is kind of normal, when your like 12. but, in here she is like 17 or 18. and Emilia was so into this guy, and i was just kind of grossed out. but, i did think Vittoria was kind of funny how she mad fun of her though.

this is just kind of weird, but i thought the background music in the kingdom of the wicked audiobook were so odd. i mean, it was just so creepy, and when it started playing, i pretty much always jumped, since it was just so creepy and it would come out of nowhere.

but, i thought this was so cute to see how Wrath loved all the desserts. and i honestly really liked how all of Maniscalo’s love interests liked desserts, and i thought it was just so cute. and it was honestly so cute how this big scary guy liked them.

i also really liked how the there was a restaurant in here, and how this let all of the family members work together. and i mean, this was just so cool that there was this common interest. and i mean, i think this was kind of cool, and i do wish we got more parts of this book set at the restaurant, since it was so cool.

i don’t know if you guys had this type of phase, but i really got into the wattpad days, just like everyone else. and i never quite got over the whole seven deadly sins books that i read. and i honestly thought it was so cool to read about them. but, i honestly feel like The Prince of Hell is a bit different then the other deadly sins, but it was still cool that they are shown. and then their secrets were just so cool and added so much to the book.

and this is probably because Kerri has a sister, at least one. so i think that Maniscalo played her strengths really well with showing how Emilia would do anything to save her sister. and how Emilia raised hell, and i thought it was so amazing to read this, since you know that she is the same way, and would do anything in the world for her sister. (i mean hopefully, but how she posts about her, she probably does, lol.)

i also really like how Mansicalo plays her strengths correctly. and i think that this made the book so much better, since she knows what she is doing completely. and the fantasy was kind of new, but the historical fiction really worked for her, and it made this book so much better.

i’m not a big person that liked cliffhangers. like, i’ve never really read that many books that have a massive cliffhanger, since romance never have them in the end of the book. but in here, there was a massive cliffhanger, and that was so cool. but, i never really seen that whole thing coming, and i’m so excited to read the sequel.

with that being said, i think that this book was so cool that there was so many witchy vibes. like, this book is honestly the perfect Halloween read, since it dealt with witches and also the whole magical mystery. and i thought this was so freaking cool.

i am also such a major enemies to lover romance and also a slowburn romance too. and this book had so much chemistry, which is another thing Maniscalo does really well. and also the whole banner between the two, which was so amazing.

i do feel like this book was hotter then the other books she wrote. like, i feel like we got those kind of scenes in Capturing the devil, but in here it was like an actual scene and it was just so amazing. and i just really liked it, and i hope book two has it more.

since this book is a lot more personal to Maniscalo than Stalking Jack the Ripper, since this is loosely based off her grandparents. and i found that to add so much more to the story. i mean, we got so much history packed into this book. and i honestly loved this so much, and this book just felt to much more personal, and you can tell when you read it, or even just when they were cooking, or walking the streets, that this book was kind of like a love letter to her grandparents.

anyway, that it all for today! happy blogmas day 18! this book was honestly so good, and i cannot wait for Kingdom of the Cursed, since this book just so amazing, and this honestly was just so great and i cannot wait to see were this story goes.

the black flamingo review – blogmas day 17

hello everyone! today i am going to be talking about the black flamingo by Dean Atta. i gave this book 4/5 stars. this was honestly a really great book, but there was some issue that i had with. i just didn’t really like how there was jumping back and forth, but this book was honestly really good.

with that being said, from everything that i’ve been told about this book is that Michael was a kid in the start of the book. like it was kind of cool, but it was also kind of boring, since it was the same things over and over again. but, it was also kind of cool that we got to see how his childhood shaped him.

and this way, we got to see a lot more of him and watch him grow to be an adult. which, i honestly thought was so cool. and i mean, this was just so amazing to watch him grow to be this amazing person. and i mean this was just so cool to read all of this.

but, i really liked how this was told in verse. i mean, it made it really interesting, and it was honestly a really quick read because of that. and honestly this made the story so much better. and i honestly believe that if this was in paragraphs, this would have not worked as well.

i thought i’d just put this out there, but if your an audiobook person, i highly suggest reading physically. i mean, it is just so much better this way. i’ve seen a lot of people say reading it physically is just better, and i agree even though i never listened to it. and i feel like it would be more powerful by reading it.

and i thought it was so cool to see that the author packed so much into this book. and there was honestly so much emotion, and strength within the book. and i feel like this is pretty normal for a book like this to have so much emotion, but this one honestly had so much more emotion, which was honestly so amazing.

as a side note, there was drawings in this book. which is something i really liked, and i thought it was so cool to read this book with the drawings. and they fit the story so well, but i completely loved this.

this might just be me, but i’ve read a couple of books that have LGBTQIA elements in them, but this book was honestly so different, but a lot better. and this one might just stick out to me, since it is more of a coming of age story and it isn’t that much of a romance novel.

and this is the only book i think i’ve ever read with Drag as a central topic. like i really liked the how it was talked about. and also how they talked about how Michael built this whole family out of his Drag community.

but, with every good book, there has to be an issue. and for me it was a line that said “Rowan looks like Ed Sheeran if Ed Sheeran was handsome.” for obvious reasons that honestly just rubbed me the wrong way. and honestly they could have reworded it completely different, or just pick an handsome person, if that is what the author was trying to get at.

i also feel like this book is such a stable read for teenagers today. between this book and Felix ever after, they are such a good book. and i hope that more schools pick this book up to make it required reading.

anyway, that is all for today! happy blogmas day 17! but, i honestly really liked this book, which i was kind of surprised about to say the least. needless to say, i’m really excited to read more books this author publishes in the future.

disney cookbook and haunted mansion review – blogmas day 16

hello everyone! today i am going to be talking about the unofficial Disney parks cookbook by Ashley Craft and also haunted mansion comic by Sina Grace. these are two shorter books, and i don’t have a lot of different opinions them, so i just combined them. and also they are shorter books and both disney so.

THE UNOFFICIAL DISNEY PARKS COOKBOOK-

first off, thank you so much Netgalley for giving me this ARC! i gave this book 3/5 stars. but, i also have no clue about how to talk and review a cookbook, so we’re just gonna guest our wat throughout this review.

one thing i really liked was that there was a lot of talk about how every park has their own different foods and drinks and how they all play together in the parks. which, i personally thought was kind of cool. and as someone that has been to the parks a ton, i overall really liked this.

but, on the other hand, i feel like everything kind of mansplained. since, this is one thing that they would talk about how everything worked, and it just didn’t rub me right. and assuming if you are picking up this book, you probably know a lot about the disney parks, so this just rubbed me the wrong way.

and all of the parts that were like paragraphs, i could have easily googled. but, i do appreciate what it was trying to do. but, it just got info dumby and i think that this book was trying to do something profound, but it honestly didn’t even work that well.

but needless to say, i really think that this book would be good to fans of disney. and i’m not a big cookbook fan, and i never really know how to talk about a cookbook. but, i feel like a lot of people will like this, if their trip got canceled because of covid, or just a big disney fan in general, you’ll probably like this.

HAUNTED MANSION-

so, off the bat, i have this book 4/5. this was honestly so cute, and i really liked this book. and i honestly flew threw this. probably because it was a graphic novel and also the drawing were so cute.

first thing first, i feel like this book is so good for kids when they are going to disney the first time or even if they’ve been there a ton. it honestly would work either way, and i honestly would have killed to read this when i was younger. since, the whole plot fit the ride so well and i honestly really liked it.

and i also really thought the art work was so cute. i mean, it was just so adorable to look at. and it also really added to the story, which was honestly so good. and just to see all the characters drawn out, it was so cute. and it made me so happy just to see those.

on the other hand, i feel like this story had a lot of unexplained things happening in it. like, there were just some parts were i was like, what the hell is happening or just things that weren’t that explained. and just Sydney’s whole job just didn’t make sense, since i didn’t know if she was a ghost or something. and it just overall needed to be explained a bit better. and i don’t really know how she can be an adult, since she looked like a child in the drawings, or at the very least a teenager.

it was also cool to see the rides and the characters up close. it just was so cool to see how different these characters look from one another and also how cute they looked. but, they could be a little scarier, but whatever. and it was just so fun to see everyone from the ride in this book.

anyway, that is it for today! happy blogmas day 16! like i said, this was a shorter review, since they are smaller books. but, i still really liked these books, and that these were just so cool and cute. and these would honestly be such a great book for christmas or a birthday for a disney lover.

city of villains by Estelle Laure. this comes out February 2nd. this is all about Mary Elizabeth Heart, who is a high school senior in the day, but at night she is an intern at the Monarch City police department. so, she watches the detectives fight the crime rate. and the cities wealth neighborhood called Scar, who had a bunch of magic. then the businessmen goes missing, and Mary Elizabeth gets the chance to help when she gets put on the case. but, one missing persons case becomes more and more, and lettings her go into a rabbit hole. that’s when she finds a girl with horns, boyfriends with secrets, and a sea monster in a poison lake. and this book is kind of a different origin story for different disney villains.

burn our bodies down review- blogmas day 14

hello everyone! happy blogmas day 14! today i am going to be talking about burn our bodies down by Rory Power. i gave this book 3/5 stars. i honestly had so much hope for this book, but i feel like it was so messy, it just made everything be kind of bad.

i don’t know about you, but i thought that this book was going to be a mystery/thriller novel with a female x female relationship. but, Margot was lgbtqia, but i feel like the person that was supposed to be our love interest is the kind of girl that will kiss and be together with another girl, but in the end she would end up outing the girl she was with and then being a bully, like in those high school movies.

with that being said, i’m not quite sure if i just expected to much, or i was just reaching, or hell i could have read it wrong. but, i was still kind of disappointed when there wasn’t a big relationship, more of just a friendship between the two girls. but, i could have also just listened to the book wrong, which made me not really put that they were like an exclusive couple.

i also felt like Margot’s whole not good relationship with the mom was honestly kind of like pushed down your throat. since, there was so much talk about how those two do not get along, but they would never be like ‘here’s the real reason those two don’t get along.’ they just kept saying, yeah they aren’t friends, which got to be quite annoying after a while.

as a whole, this book did not make any bit of sense, i’ll go into a spolier review down a below in a little bit. but, for the most part, it was just a hot mess, and it honestly made me so confused when i was reading it. but, i also still enjoyed this a little bit.

i also feel like this story was quite draggy in some places. i personally hate slow stories, i mean most people do, but this one was pretty different. and it was so draggy, it resulted in me just loosing interest, so then i was like mindless listening, so i would have no clue what was happening.

and honestly, it might also just because of the writing. the writing wasn’t perfect by any means, which led this to be pretty annoying. like, there would just be times were they would spend so much time talking about what she is feeling and if she is sad or happy, but she was mostly angry. and then they would go on these long talks about how things look like, and how everything liked in her mothers old room, which got to be annoying.

also the big part of the plot took awhile to get to. like, i feel like it was at 60% ish we got the meat, and when things really took off and took a turn for the better, and just for it to get interesting. and also, i felt like it would have been better if we got more insight on each of the characters, not just Margot, and knew more of the history in the families.

honestly, the families were so messy as a whole. i mean, it was just a mess to figure out how everything went together in the grand scheme of things. and it got to be kind of annoying since i feel like some of the stories change like 20 times. and since there was so much personal beef, it just got hard to keep up with every single thing that was going on.

but, if you want a very twisty book, and that is YA horror, i feel like you have the right book. since, this is all over the place, and also makes your mind go in 20 different directions, it honestly makes everything work out for you. i mean, days after i finished this book i was still trying to figure out everything that was happening.

SPOILERS-

i don’t really understand the whole the grandma has two copies of herself, and how then Margot’s mom has a copy of herself, with is Margot. i mean, i know there is someway to do it. but, in here it just sounded like they just woke up one day pregnant, and they didn’t even inject themselves with the bone marrow. and it honestly just needed better explanation.

with that being said, i wish i knew more about how many kids and such there actually were. i mean, from what we were told, i would think it would be like 50+ at this point. but, it just confused me with how there was like 20 of Margot in the backyard.

i also don’t fully understand how Tessa got roped into this whole mess. like, if it was just Margot’s families weird thing, i have no clue how she got roped into all of it. and like i was super sad to see that Tessa died, and that her whole family was dead.

anyway, that is all for today! happy blogmas day 14! i honestly enjoyed this book, even if it was kind of a mess at parts, i still feel it was worth the read if you are into the whole family stories. i think it would honestly be the book for you.
